Dr Bob Bender
Dr. Bob Bender is our Pastor Emeritus, having served as Cross Fellowships Lead Pastor for 19 years. Bob and his wife, and greatest supporter, Beverly, are living the dream with three married children and eleven grandchildren all residing in Colorado Springs. This Oklahoma native has been in ministry since graduating from high school. He has two degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Jordan Meyer
Jordan moved to Colorado in 2019. Ever since then, she has made Cross Fellowship her home. She has been on staff at Cross Fellowship since January 2021. She loves spending time with her family. Jordan enjoys volunteering in the preschool ministry on Sunday mornings and is one of our Cubbie directors in Awana pointing little ones to Jesus.

Financial Manager
Angi Harris
Angi and her husband, Hank, moved to Colorado in 2019. They began attending Cross Fellowship Church shortly after their arrival, and Angi joined the staff in September of that year. One of her favorite sayings is “Home is where God sends us” and Colorado Springs has definitely become home! They have two adult daughters, Kirstin and Micah, two sons-in-law, Wes and Derek, and two sweet grandchildren, Trapper and Audrey. Angi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, sipping a good cup of coffee, and serving as the director of Christmas Blessing Store, as well as serving in the Preschool and Women’s Ministries at Palmer Park.

Caleb Joles
It is my hope and desire that Cross Fellowship Church can minister well to those in the community through our technological assets. I am passionate about ministering in the background and working diligently to provide the best user experience. Young Adult Pastor
Eric Rogers
Eric recognizes Oklahoma as his stomping ground, and now loves calling Colorado Springs and the beautiful views his new home. He graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University, with a degree in Religion. He and his wife met in high school and have five kids: Paden and Paisley, both married and raising their own families; Posie, Piper and Plumlee. Eric and Kala have loved serving together in the Body of Christ through children’s, youth, and young families both on staff and in the laity. Eric is passionate about developing young people’s walks with the Lord and strengthening their understanding of how they fit in the Body. This passion drives his involvement with and excitement about young adults and guiding them in their new experience of developing into responsible serving adults. Family is very important to Eric. He loves being with his kids and experiencing the beauty of Colorado through hiking, paddle boarding, parks, playgrounds, pools and more!

Minister of Member Care/Women's Director
Jen Allison
Jen moved to Colorado Springs in the Fall of 2000 and began worshiping at CFC in the Summer of 2005. She is married to her husband, Don, and together they have two wonderful children, Courtney and JD, along with their daughter-in-love, Atlanta. As Minister of Member Care, Jen’s heart is to come alongside the Cross Fellowship family with encouragement, prayer and support-helping meet practical needs while pointing people to the hope we have in Christ. In her role as Women’s Minister, she is especially passionate about creating spaces where women feel connected, valued, and equipped to take the next step in their faith journey. Jen loves She really enjoys game nights, coffee dates, and scrap booking, but her greatest joy comes from seeing God transform lives through relationships and community. Her desire for Cross Fellowship is that everyone who walks through the doors will feel the love of Jesus in a tangible way. Paden Rogers
Paden is a native of Oklahoma, graduating from Oklahoma Baptist University, where he met his beautiful wife, Brooke. Paden began his adventure at Cross Fellowship in 2018. He and his amazing wife have an adorable, energetic toddler named Ander Judah, and continue to extend their love to the foster kiddos that come through their home. Paden is passionate about wrestling with his toddler, coffee dates with his wife, admiring art and design, playing board games with anyone, and riding doorless in his Jeep with his dog. Paden received his Master’s of Theological Studies from Gateway Seminary. Paden is truly passionate about seeing students truly grasp the calling to “GO,” no matter where they are at.

Minister of Support Staff/Preschool Directer, Palmer Park
Kelly Gandy
Kelly was born in Kansas but grew up in Colorado Springs. She graduated from Doherty High school and headed to Southwest Baptist University, where she met the love of her life, Bill. She graduated from SBU with a psychology degree with a minor in early childhood development and discipleship. Bill and Kelly have four kids. Now with added spouses, kids out of state and overseas, grandkids and more coming, she follows them around too! Her passions are helping people grow closer to Jesus whether through VBS, Mission Trips, watching the parents kids in the preschool, leading discipleship groups & Bible studies or fixing a meal in the kitchen!

Kim Antons
Kim moved back to Colorado in 2013 after living in Idaho and Washington area for 11 years. Her husband, Travis and her joined Cross Fellowship church in 2014. Kim and Travis have been married since 1998, and have two boys, Tanner and Chase. Kim spent most of her career as an elementary teacher. She loves to read, garden, cook, and spending time with family. She has a passion to build relationships with children through lots of love and laughter, while helping them to build a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Preschool Director
Cheryl Rogers
Cheryl has work in early childhood education for over 40 years. She enjoys working with the preschool volunteers, teachers, parents, and especially the preschoolers. She loves teaching about and showing the love of Jesus to the littlest ones in our church. She is a Colorado native and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and her family.

Lead Pastor
Dr Matthew Morton
On August 7th, 2022, Dr. Morton took office as Cross Fellowship Church's 6th Lead Pastor. Matthew has been on staff at CFC since 2005 serving in both bi-vocational and vocational capacities. In that time he has served in many roles in the church. Matthew is a retired veteran of the United States Army and a native of Colorado Springs. Matthew and Trisha married in 1998 and have two children, Andrew and Emma, as well as a daughter-in-law, Ryann. Matthew is passionate about preaching and teaching God’s Word in a verse by verse format, and his focus is simply to glorify God by taking one step closer to Jesus every day and helping others do the same. Matthew has a Masters of Science in Space Operations, a Masters of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctorate from Gateway Seminary.

Executive Pastor/Worship Pastor
Travis Hastings
Travis is originally from Moore, OK, and graduated from Southwestern College in 2003 with a degree in Music Education. He met his wife, Claire, on campus at Southwestern, and they’ve been married since 2004. They have two wonderful daughters-Liv and Jayne. Travis is passionate about pastoring. He loves people and loves pointing people towards Jesus, whether that’s in a corporate worship setting or simply through building relationships with people. Travis is also dedicated to training up leaders and helping people find their passion and calling in Christ. Travis brings 20 plus years of ministry experience to CFC and oversees our worship ministry, life group ministries and serves as the Executive Pastor for Cross Fellowship Church. In his spare time, he loves hanging out with his family. Travis loves watching sports of all kinds, FOOD Network, and nostalgic 80s sitcoms. He loves to play golf and tennis as well. Church Life Pastor
Bill Lighty
Bill Lighty has been in ministry over 50 years. He is serving Cross Fellowship in a bi-vocational role as the Church Life Pastor. He was married to Carol in 1978. Bill grew up in a fighter pilot home, moving moving every two to three years. His father retired from the Air Force and landed in Colorado Springs where Bill graduated from Air Academy High School. He went on to graduate with a bachelors degree in Education from UCCS, then a Masters of Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served as a Youth/College minister until 1986 when God moved his young family to pastor Chapel Hills Baptist Church in Colorado Springs. He served there for 21 years, then he then became the Regional Director for the Pikes Peak Region. He earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from what was then called Golden Gate Baptist Seminary (now Gateway Seminary) in 2011. He retired from full time ministry at the end of May 2025. Bill and Carol have two grown married daughters with four granddaughters, all of whom live in the Colorado Springs area. Bill is passionate about identifying, equipping and empowering leaders to fulfill their God-given calling. He would love to talk with you about serving our church, engaging in a LIFE group, developing your leadership skills and making disciples who make disciples. In his spare time he enjoys reading, woodworking, golf, serving as a chaplain with the Black Forest Fire Rescue and being with his family.

Senior Adult Pastor
Jeff Rogers
Jeff is a graduate of Gateway Seminary and has had the privilege to serve as a pastor in several areas. He loves going on mission trips and spending time with people no matter what their age. Jeff has been in Colorado since he was two, but the rest of the family (all Colorado natives) make sure he knows that doesn’t count as being a “Colorado Native”. His favorite things are spending time with the family, fishing and playing with the dogs. He is passionate about walking with people as they walk with the Lord. Pastor Jeff works with the Family and Senior ministries, primarily at the Black Forest Campus.

Bill Gandy
Bill has been part of the Cross Fellowship Church family since 2005. He has served in various capacities within Cross Fellowship both as a volunteer as well as interim student pastor and interim worship pastor. Before becoming Campus Pastor at Cross Fellowship, Palmer Park in 2022, Bill served as Associate Pastor in Kansas and Washington State and for 17 years served with the North American Mission Board as the Collegiate Ministry Director at the United States Air Force Academy. Bill is married to Kelly, who he met in the marching band while attending Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. They have four adult children: Morgan (Landon), Mollie (Tyler), Matthew (Caroline), and Madison. They also have five grandkids: Spencer, Jonas, Grayson, Asher, and Abigail. Bill's loves serving the local church, preaching God's Word, and making disciples. He also enjoys riding anything with 2 wheels and watching sports of all kinds.

Student Pastor
Roberto Sanchez
Roberto brings a rich background and a heartfelt commitment to faith, family, and community. Originally from New Jersey, he proudly served in the United States Air Force, where he met his wife, Jackie. Together, they are blessed with five children—Romeio, Cristian, Mateio, Catalina, and Evangelina. Roberto is a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, holding a Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry. As an ordained Southern Baptist pastor, he is passionate about connecting people to Christ and strengthening the local church. His ministry focus is especially centered on youth and children, where he seeks to help students of all ages not only encounter the gospel but also live it out in their daily lives.

Associate Pastor
Hank Harris
Hank and his wife Angi are both from Northwest Arkansas and they have been married for over 35 years. They have two adult daughters that are both married, and two grandchildren. Hank and Angi moved to Colorado Springs in the summer of 2019, and he joined the staff at Cross Fellowship Church in January of 2021. Hank retired from the US Army after 20 years of service and multiple deployments and overseas assignments. Hank began serving as a minister of the Gospel in 2013. He has served in ministry in Missouri, Minnesota, and Colorado.

Missions Pastor
David Haynes
David was born and raised in Bristol, Tennessee and moved to Colorado Springs in 2017 after a 24-year career in the United States Air Force. He holds a Master's of Divinity from Liberty University and upon completing our Pastoral Residency program, he became our Missions Pastor in 2021. Pastor David and his family attend our Palmer Park Campus where he also serves as Associate Campus Pastor and Life Group leader. David is passionate about reaching the least-reached people groups with the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ. As an avid outdoorsman, David can often be found fly fishing on our local lakes and streams.
